How we use and protect the details you share with us.

Who we are

Egg Donor India is the website of ZOI FERTILITY, a registered ART Bank (URN MH/AB/2022/10691/Mumbai/83), 2nd Floor, Millennium Tower, Powai, Mumbai 400076. ZOI FERTILITY decides why and how your personal data is used. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into our forms, and a few details about how you reached us.

  • Parents (India and international): name, mobile or WhatsApp number, email, city or country of residence, citizenship, preferred call time, and any message you write.
  • Donor eligibility: your age, whether you have donated before, whether you live near Mumbai, whether you will attend counselling and screening, name, mobile number, email, city and preferred language.
  • Clinics: clinic name, ART registration number, state, city, contact person, role, mobile number, email and message.
  • Registration: name and mobile number. Payment is made on Razorpay’s own page; we do not see or store your card or bank details.
  • Donor preferences form: the preferences you choose (blood group, age band, height, skin type, eye colour, hair, education, languages, and religion if you choose to give it), with your name, phone or WhatsApp and city. Blood group is health data; we ask for your consent for it on the form.
  • Campaign details: the page you came from and campaign tags (UTM, gclid, fbclid), so we know which enquiry came from which advertisement.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call or consultation.
  • To check eligibility and begin screening, if you are a donor.
  • To give registered parents access to available donor profiles.
  • To meet our duties under the ART (Regulation) Act, 2021 and its Rules, including record keeping.
  • To understand which pages and advertisements bring enquiries, so we can improve the site.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for any other purpose without asking you first.

Consent

We ask for your consent with an unticked box on every form. You can say no, and the form will not send. For donor health and screening information, we ask again, separately, before we collect it at the clinic.

Who we share it with

Only people and services that help us respond to you, under our instructions:

  • Our ART Bank team and doctors at ZOI FERTILITY.
  • Hostinger (website hosting) and our email service.
  • Zoho (our internal enquiry and follow up records), and WhatsApp and email, to contact you and to send donor access links.
  • Razorpay, for the registration fee, on its own page.
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), for visit statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure which advertisement led to an enquiry, only if you accept marketing cookies.

We share data with authorities only where the law requires it.

International patients

If you enquire from outside India, your details are handled in India. Your details may pass through services located in other countries (for example, email and messaging services). We use only services that keep your data secure, and we do not transfer it to any country the Government of India has restricted. Google and Meta may also process analytics and advertising data on servers outside India, only if you accept those cookies.

How long we keep it

Form entries and the matching alert emails are kept for 4 years, then deleted. Medical and ART Bank records are kept for the period the ART Act and its Rules require. Cookies are kept for the period shown in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You may, at any time:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct or complete it;
  • ask us to erase it (we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it);
  • withdraw your consent (this will not affect what we did before you withdrew). You can withdraw cookie consent at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer;
  • name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act;
  • complain, as described below.

Write to donate@eggdonorindia.com. We reply within 7 days and complete valid requests within 30 days.

Children

This website is for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us details, write to us and we will delete them.

Security and data breach

Our site uses HTTPS, spam protection on forms, and access limited to our ART Bank team. If a data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
